Poughkeepsie and has worked in the Home Décor and Decorating field for
the past 20 years. Food and health have always been an important
interest in her adult life but one experience really enhanced that
interest. While working on a home renovation project on the island of
Corfu, Greece, Lori fell in love with the culture and life style of
living off of the land, with a respect to food and meal time. It had
such a profound effect, that her life mission is, “To bring back the dinner table of yesteryear, to the modern families of today”. Since, she has graduated from the
Institute for Integrative Nutrition, NYC, as a Board Certified Health
Coach, where she was trained in more than one hundred dietary theories
and studied a variety of practical lifestyle coaching methods. Drawing
on this knowledge, Lori will help you create a completely personalized
“roadmap to health” that suits your unique body, lifestyle, preferences,
and goals. Lori's approach is not to dwell on
calories, carbs, fats, and proteins. It is not to create lists of
restrictions or good and bad foods. Instead, she works with clients to
create a happy, healthy life in a way that is flexible, fun and
rewarding, while eating delicious whole food. Together you will work to reach your
health goals in areas such as achieving optimal weight, reducing food
cravings, increasing sleep, and maximizing energy. You will develop a deeper understanding of the food and lifestyle choices that work best for you and implement lasting changes that will improve your energy, balance and health. Available on Mondays 1-5pm

For Elana, one of the greatest joys in life is witnessing people connect to their own authenticity. Her work with both Transformational Kinesiology(TK) and Nonviolent
Communication(NVC) are powerful tools for Self- connection and for truly
authentic living. She began working with NVC in 2001 and has been
studying and practicing Transformational Kinesiology since 2004, with
amazing results for both herself and the people she works with. People say
they can hardly believe the transformation that has taken place in their
lives through this work and are amazed at who they become and all of
the positive ways they show up in the world as a result.
Elana will be teaching regular workshops at the spa, and will be available for private sessions the 1st Thursday of each month.
Kraig with a 'K' - Certified Yoga Teacher and Spa Reconstructionist Under the direction of Michael Stein of Ashtanga of New Paltz, Kraig earned his Yoga Teacher Certification with the goal of helping others achieve wellness through yoga. While still recovering from numerous sports-related traumas and debilitating injuries to his spine, he found yoga to be the answer to repair both physical and mental traumas we sustain.
He teaches a Warm Vinyasa-style of yoga in which the studio is heated between 80-85 degrees, allowing for the release of toxins and the ability of each student to go deeper into postures with less risk of injury. His class size is limited to 10 students so that proper attention is paid to each person.
